Hello, if we haven’t met yet, I’m Abby. I’m a Raleigh-based pet photographer and owner of Paws Fur Joy Photography.
I love the fresh feeling and beautiful colors of the spring season in Raleigh. It’s a perfect time for pet portraits! I’m excited to announce that Petals and Pets Portrait Sessions are back. Check out all of the details below.
Petals and Pets Portrait Sessions
I created these special sessions to celebrate your dog as well as the beautiful blooms popping up. These mini-sessions will have a LIMITED number available.
Have you tried to take portraits of your dogs in the flowers yourself? Maybe you’ve struggled to get your dog to sit in the perfect position. Perhaps your dog wad distracted by bees? Did allergies make you sneeze? If so, Petals and Pets sessions are the perfect solution!
Your dog will look extra cute with the beautiful petals surrounding him! Petals and Pets session are a fun and hassle-free way to get portraits of you and your dog without the struggle.
This is the perfect opportunity to share your portraits in time for all the pet-parent holidays! A petals and pets session is the perfect way to celebrate the love between dogs and their paw-rents. Perhaps you know a dog parent in your life that would love to receive a petals and pets session!
Investment: $175 plus tax
Petals and Pets Session $175 (plus tax). Each session includes:
- a 20 minute portrait session for up to 2 pets and 2 humans.
- 3 digital images
- 1 5×7 art print matted on an 8×10 board.
After the session you will be able to choose which images you’d like via a zoom session reveal. You will be given the opportunity during the session reveal to make any additional purchases if you wish.

April 20th: Fred Fletcher Park
Fred Fletcher Park is located at 820 Clay St, Raleigh, NC 27605. We will meet on the sidewalk closes to the bigger parking lot. Check out some of the portraits at this location below.
I love this location especially for little dogs. Many of the arrangements are at lil pup height, creating the perfect scene!

May 11th Raleigh Rose Garden
Another perfect location for spring pet portrait session in Raleigh is the Raleigh Little Theater Rose Garden. This is one of the most magical places in Raleigh for a pet portrait session. It is located at 301 Pogue Street, Raleigh, NC 27607. It is located with a residential neighborhood so it mostly street parking. You can read more about this location in a blog post I wrote last year HERE.

How to Book
Click the button for your preferred date and location below. When you sign up for your session you will be sent an invoice to pay for your slot in full. You will have 24 hours upon receipt to pay the invoice. If you don’t pay the invoice within the time frame then your slot will be released for someone else. You’ll be notified of this first though!
You will then be sent a contract to and we’ll set up a time for a quick chat so I can learn all about your pup. I’ll ask things like how they’re best motivated and if they have an allergies.
