The burst of color, joy, and excitement provides the perfect back drop for unforgettable memories with your furry friend.  It’s truly a magical place, right here in the heart of Raleigh at Dorothea Dix Park!

Sunflower Sessions at Dix Park: The Experience

Now in its fourth year, our Sunflower Sessions at Dix Park are always a  hit among pet parents. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to showcase  your dog’s personality against the vibrant backdrop of blooming sunflowers.

Whether your dog is as small as a teacup or as big as a bear, I have tricks up my sleeve to create stunning portraits that celebrate your dog in the golden glow of the sunflowers.

Concerned about how your dog would behave? No need to worry! I’m experienced photographing dogs of all obedience levels. It only takes me a split second to get that winning shot! We ensure all dogs stay on a leash during the session for their safety. I utilize  post-production magic to edit out leashes.

Our Sunflower Mini-Sessions at Dix Park truly bring out the best in your dog. The beautiful sea of sunflowers lets your dog’s personality shine in a way you’ve never seen before. And the best part? No previous training or pet modeling experience is needed!

Investment: $175 (plus tax)

The sunflower mini sessions include:

• 20-minute portrait session
• 3 professionally edited digital images,
• one 5×7 art print of one of the corresponding digital images that you choose.

Sessions may include up to 2 dogs and 2 humans from the same household (or couple).

It’s more than a portrait session, it’s a joy-filled experience that promises to leave you with heartwarming memories and stunning keepsakes.

How to Sign up for your Sunflower Session at Dix Park

1) Click the link below to go to the calendar to view available dates and times. Select your date and time. Sessions for 2024 will take place on 7/12.7/13, and 7/14.

2) You will be sent an invoice to pay in full. To reserve your time slot pay within 24 hours of receiving your invoice. Otherwise your slot will be opened back up. However, I’ll notify you as a reminder before this happens!

3). I’ll be in touch with you regularly leading up to your session date. We will be able to reschedule if needed; if you are unable to reschedule your amount paid will be refunded.
