A LIl R and R studio came onto the Triangle Pet Retail scene in a big way this year! This is one of my favorite things because it combines two loves of mine: dogs and self-care/mental health. She also has a space for workshops and hosts photo events and adoption events there. View their website HERE and shop in person. If you go, let me know, I just may want to tag along!

I’ve put a pet portrait session with me under the self care section. Why is that you ask? I offer a pet portrait experience unlike any other. I draw on my background in the mental health field to create prompts that help you connect with your pet in a while new way during our session. I view this bonding experience as just as important as the end result! I also view having a mental healthy informed pet photographer as an essential componant to having a deeper and more meangingful experience with you and your pup! Check out how I do that HERE.

Of course we all associate our favorite scents with the holiday season! Wicks for Wags was created in 2015 out of the owner’s love for her soul dog, Juno. The owner, an amazing advocate for animal rescues, donates 10% of the proceeds to local rescues. I love that these candles are made with sustainability and the environment in mind. They are described as being made from environmentally friendly soy wax from soybeans grown on American farms. The wicks are mde from natural cotton and is lead free. They are also 100% dye free and vegan, and do not contain paraffin. This results in a slower, cooler, and longer burning candle. My personal favorite is the “dreaming by the fire” scent.

Victoria Lowry is an expert at at capturing your dog’s personality on canvas. had her create a painting of my Marley boy. It truly captured the essence of my beautiful soul boy. Check it out below!
I also just submitted a photograph of my Sophie girl. I am sure it will turn out amazing. She does a lot of events and fundraisers for local rescues. Did you know that she also is a wedding painter? She’ll paint the scene of you marrying your sweetie.
I’m always in awe of people who use their hands to create beautiful art. I do feel I’m cheating a bit by using my camera; when it comes to drawing, it’s all stick figures for me haha!
Victoria offers gift cards; this is such a heartfelt gift that will be sure to impress and bring a tear to the receiver’s eye!
Shop her website HERE. She also hosts a lot of “paint your dog” fundraising classes that are a ton of fun!

The Dog of the Triangle 2026 Calendar is ready for purchase! About $5 from each calendar goes to Pawsitively Pugs. Stay tuned for the next one. I will be announcing it along with the rescue soon! If you love dog photos and ways to give back then check out the Calendar HERE.
Okay, so this next gift is pretty much the best thing ever! Locally based creator, Imman, embroiders your pet’s likeness onto a variety of products. From sweatshirts to totes, this sweet gift will warm hearts and souls! Each dog is digitally drawn and then machine embroidered onto your product. For Christmas your pet could be donning a Santa hat for an extra cute and festive gift! You can shop their holiday collection among other products at their website HERE. They are crafted with care, each item roughly includes 20,000 stitches and takes 1 hour to machine embroider. Personally, i’m eyeing the tote bag. Now that my two pups have crossed the rainbow bridge, I think it would be amazing to carry them with me wherever I go!
