Your sweet senior is adorable, sugar-faced, and loyal.

Am I truly savoring these moments?

Am I prepared for what's ahead?

You love her deeply and want to make the most of the time you have left, yet you may have a uneasiness in the back of your mind, wondering:

These worries feel overwhelming as the days fly by and her gray fur seems to multiply.

Big decisions might be on the horizon, but you’d rather not think about them.

You’ve already thought about how you need to capture more photos, start new routines, or find special ways to cherish each day, but it’s hard to know where to start.

• Read countless articles, blogs, and youtube videos about caring for aging dogs.

• You've applied various vet recommendations (exercises, diets, joint supplements, etc) with varying success. You're often left feeling frustrated and anxious.

• You've attempted to push away your worries, but they sometimes come back stronger.

• You now that while these approaches focus on physical aspects of aging, and important pice of the puzzle is missing: strengthening the emotional bond and cherishing the time you have left together.

You wish that somehow you could freeze time and decrease that nagging sense of dread.

you feel like you've tried everything...

I'm Abby! I get; I've been there too and I'm there now:

Way back in my early 20s, we said goodbye to my childhood golden retriever, Penny. I didn’t have the tools or knowledge to handle the situation and felt overwhelmed by despair. I now wish I could go back, postpone my trip, and be there for her in her final moments

Years later, my husband and I  adopted seniors, Marley and Sophie. I was determined not to make the same mistakes. During Maryle's illness, I used mindfulness, photography, and animal Reiki to cherish every moment. While it was a challenging time, I now look back on it with peace and gratitude.

I’ve continued to implement these techniques with my 15 year-old  Sophie girl, who’s still going strong!

I want to help you do the same, in whatever way that looks best for you. My goal is to assist you in creating routines that implement these valuable tools, documenting all the special everyday moments, and crafting an end-of-life plan that makes sense for you and your family.

  • A sense of peaceful empowerment and reassurance, knowing that you have a routine for savoring moments with your senior dog.

  • Confident knowing that you have tools to effectively cope with worry and anxiety when they crop up.

  • You have a photo diary filled with soulful images that capture the essence of her personality that you and others can cherish forever

  • A  reassuring sense of clarity now that you are equipped to handle challenging decisions that come along with her senior years

  • When the time comes you’re prepared with tools for both grieving and honoring her memory

  • a sense of closure and deep gratitude for the journey you’ve shared that wraps your heart with comfort and healing.

Imagine feeling...

What if you could have tools to savor every belly rub, cheek lick, tail wag, and snore-filled snooze.

Your heart would be warm, your soul happy, and memories savored.

That’s the promise of the Peaceful Paws Pathway.

Why the DEAR DOG method makes all the difference...

Our signature DEAR DOG Method is the heart of the Peaceful Paws Pathway, designed to guide you through the emotional and practical journey of caring for your senior dog.

Unlike generic advice or one-size-fits-all solutions, the DEAR DOG Method offers a step-by-step approach that is deeply rooted in mindfulness, emotional support, and actionable tools.

Structured Yet Flexible: The method is broken down into clear modules, each with focused outcomes, while allowing you to adapt practices to fit your unique relationship with your dog.

Mindfulness-Centered: By incorporating mindfulness and gratitude, this method helps you stay present and fully savor every moment with your pet.

Practical and Emotional Support: It balances tangible actions (like creating rituals or memory books) with emotional preparation (like coping with anticipatory grief and end of life decision making).

Guided by Expertise: Developed by a seasoned therapist, and pet photographer, and animal reiki practitioner, the DEAR DOG Method combines mental health expertise with an understanding of the human-animal bond.

Can I share this information with people?

06

No. While I do have some training on pet loss doula services, I do not have medical or veterinary training. Part of the course teaches you how to advocate and ask questions of medical providers. This will give you tools to confidently address these with your dog's veterinarian. Every dog and every person is unique!

can you give me specific advice on my dog's situation for end of life decisions?

05

We offer a 30 day guarantee (no questions asked) where you may ask for a refund. After the 30 days from purchase we do not issue a refund. Upon registering we'll have you sign a contract outline this and so you know what to expect from me!

if the course isn't what I thought, do you offer refunds?

04

While I am a licensed therapist, I am not your therapist. The information I provide is educational and not considered a substitute for therapy. If you are in need of a therapist I can certainly refer you to local resources!

you are a therapist; is this a replacement for therapy?

03

We offer a 30 Day money back guarantee. If you lose your pet after the 30 days we encourage you to go straight to the grief module and reach out to the group for support. I'll also provide you with local resources. If you need to take a break from the course and come back to those sections later that is also an option since you have lifetime access.

What if my dog passes after I enroll?

02

While much of the content is designed with senior issues in mind, this information can be helpful if you have a dog of any age. All of the 8 modules can be applied to dogs of younger ages except for grieving/anticipatory grief. Though you may have gone through a loss before and would absolutely benefit!
